Advertising investment in Luxembourg: growth and new trends

According to Ad'Report 2023, advertising investment in Luxembourg reached €132.3 million, up 1.8 per cent on 2022 (€130 million).

Key media:

  • Press (36.74%) and radio (19.07%) remain the main channels, showing growth of 6.55% and 2.11% respectively.
  • Online advertising grew by 2.84%, accounting for 12.61% of the total.
  • Advertising investments in television decreased by 9.28%.

Investor groups:

  • Transport (+18.6%) and retail (+19.39%) showed the highest growth.

The new measurement methodology introduced from 2021 has allowed for more accurate and faster data. In addition, changes in the regulation of printed flyers have led to a reallocation of budgets in favour of the press.
