According to official figures, about 78% of the inhabitants of the Grand Duchy speak German. German is also spoken in other countries: neighboring Germany and Belgium, Switzerland, Austria, Liechtenstein, the Republic of Namibia. There are German-speaking communities in France, Italy, the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary and many other countries.
The launch of the German version of the website and the German version of the driving test is part of our strategy to expand our audience and improve the availability of information.
