The event traditionally takes place on Museum Days - May 18 and 19, 2024. As part of the celebrations, 37 museums in the Grand Duchy will be open to the public free of charge from 10:00 to 18:00.

On these days, it will be possible to discover the permanent and temporary exhibitions, to take part in workshops and events or to go on a guided tour. Special programs such as musical performances, children's activities and much more will be organized for the occasion.

Museums such as MUDAM, the Luxembourg Museum of Modern Art, the Victor Hugo Museum, the National Brewery Museum and many others will participate in the event. All participants with their special programs and free offers can be found on the official website. Please note that pre-registration is required for some events.

The International Museum Day has been celebrated in Luxembourg every year since 1977. Traditionally, the holiday is celebrated on May 18th and special events and activities are organized on this day. Last year, 17,342 people took advantage of the offer.
