Music festivals occupy an important place in the cultural and social life of society. They not only contribute to the development of art, but are also platforms for experimentation, communication and sustainable development. However, the crises of recent years have demonstrated their vulnerability and the need for state support. In response to these challenges, the Ministry of Culture has announced the launch of a new project to assist music festival organisers.

The initiative aims to support festivals of all music genres, focusing on several key aspects:

Cultural and social significance

Festivals foster dialogue between artists and their audiences, strengthen the local community and attract international interest.

Economic and environmental sustainability

Projects will consider limited resources and strive to be environmentally responsible.

Accessibility and equitable development

Particular attention is paid to ensuring cultural diversity and reaching both local and international audiences.

Music festivals, as mirrors of cultural processes, have been threatened by the economic and social challenges of recent years. This project emphasises their importance by providing the necessary support to maintain and expand their role in society.

To implement the programme, the Ministry has developed a strategy based on transparency and objectivity. Organisers will be able to apply for funding, which will be allocated according to clear criteria. This will not only help festivals overcome current difficulties, but will also open up new opportunities for artists and their audiences.

This project is not only a response to current problems, but also a contribution to the sustainable development of the music industry. Its success will be measured by the number of supported events and their impact on the cultural environment.
