Luxembourg outlet guide: big brands at small prices
As it is well known in Luxembourg prices are high, so what can you do to buy clothes at reasonable prices? Thank God outlets exist and here we will tell you where to find them, you may have to move around a bit, but you will find them.
Although there is a bit of a journey to go to most of the outlets, in general the trip is worth it as prices are very attractive. You can save considerable amounts of money and the outlets are generally quite big, so it is possible to find a wide offer, many stores, and lots of brands.
Looking for outlets in Luxembourg
When looking for cheap shopping in Luxembourg in the fashion sector, the first thing that comes to mind is to look for an outlet in Luxembourg. The problem is that the Grand Duchy is not a place given to low prices and affordable shopping, although there are many stores with this spirit in other sectors of the market.
When it comes to clothing outlets, they are conspicuous by their absence. This does not mean that it is impossible to get clothes at reasonable prices when you live in Luxembourg, you just have to move around a bit and travel to nearby outlets in neighboring countries. Belgium, France, Germany, and Holland all have outlets not far from the border, so no matter what corner of the country you live in, you will probably have one nearby.
Marques Avenue in Talange (France)

One of the Marques Avenue centres is located in Talange, France, very close to the Luxembourg border heading towards Metz and about half an hour from Luxembourg. This outlet mall has more than 60 stores where it is possible to buy numerous well-known brands such as Nike, Polo Ralph Lauren, Mango, Calvin Klein, Desigual, Adidas, Tommy Hilfiger, Le Coq Sportif, Triumph and many more.
The centre also offers various services, such as the Cercle Privilèges, a digital loyalty program that allows customers to accumulate points for purchases and visits that can then be redeemed for rewards. In addition, the outlet has a food court, free Wi-Fi, rest areas, baby space and free parking.
A highlight of Marques Avenue is the 2nde Avenue service, which makes it possible to send clothes, books, toys, and society games in good condition for resale or recycling. The process is simple: first, an estimate of the repurchase price is made online, then the items are sent free of charge by mail. Subsequently, there is a re-evaluation of the initial estimate according to the condition of the items. Finally, the customer receives a gift card valid in all Marques Avenue and Quai des Marques boutiques.
It is important, however, to note that the items must be in good condition, with original tags and without defects such as stains, holes or excessive wear. Non-conforming items are donated to French charities or recycled.
Roppenheim The Style Outlets (France)

To get to Roppenheim The Style Outlets it will be necessary to drive a bit, as it is located near the border between France and Germany, almost three hours from the capital, but the trip is worth it. This outlet, which opened in 2012, covers an impressive 27,280 m² and features 107 stores and a very wide selection of national and international brands such as Calvin Klein, Mango, Guess, Adidas, Nike and Le Creuset.
The centre's design recreates a picturesque German shepherd village with Baroque, Medieval and Renaissance architectural styles surrounded by 50,000 m² of green areas and a lake. This makes the shopping trip a pleasant outdoor experience in a green and enchanting environment, rather than a shopping mall full of gray walls and artificial lights. In addition, the site has rest areas, children's areas and multiple dining options.
Furthermore, if you are a fan of the outlets and shop frequently, the Club Lifestylers, the loyalty program of Roppenheim The Style Outlets may be of interest to you. With this club it is possible to accumulate 1 point for every euro spent and then redeem the points for discounts and exclusive benefits.
McArthurGlen in Troyes (France)

It has some 110 stores spread over 30,000 m² and offers a wide selection of premium brands such as Polo Ralph Lauren, Hugo Boss, Lacoste, Tommy Hilfiger, Zadig & Voltaire and Nike, among others. Its open-air design is inspired by the traditional half-timbered houses typical of the Champagne region, creating an attractive and welcoming environment. It also features green spaces and a mobile champagne bar highlighting local products.
McArthurGlen is currently undergoing a major renovation, avenues are being widened to facilitate traffic and a new space inspired by the “Halles Baltard” style, with glass and iron structures, is being built. Catering areas and 40 charging stations for electric vehicles will also be added. And if you're planning to go, don't worry about the restorations, all stores will remain open during the construction work.
Designer Outlet Luxembourg (Belgium)

It was inaugurated in 2003 and like the last two outlets, has a “village” type design that creates a pleasant atmosphere and hosts about 60 stores offering permanent discounts from 30% to 70%. Brands include Adidas, Nike, Puma, Boss, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Levi's and Zadig & Voltaire, along with fashion and lifestyle options such as American Vintage and The Kooples.
Since its acquisition by ImRaum Immobilien in 2022, it has been under the management of ROS Retail Outlet Shopping and has experienced significant growth.
Zweibrücken Fashion Outlet (Germany)

The outlet also has an open-air design with wide promenades, seating and dining areas. They have permanent discounts of up to 70%, and there are regular events and seasonal promotions.
Also, for frequent customers, there is the Fashion Club, a loyalty program that allows members to accumulate a 5% credit on the amount of purchases that can then be used on future purchases. Members can also enjoy benefits such as special gifts on their birthday, priority access to private sales with exclusive prices and additional offers throughout the year.
Roermond Designer Outlet (Netherlands)

But the journey is worth it, since its opening in 2001 Designer Outlet Roermond has grown significantly and now has 46,700 m², making it one of the largest outlets in Northern Europe. The outlet has more than 200 stores offering permanent discounts of up to 70% with many top brands such as Gucci, Armani, Polo Ralph Lauren, Nike, Adidas, and Burberry.
