Road closures in Luxembourg 16-18 November

From 16 to 18 November 2024, road works will take place on the A1 motorway between the Hamm junction and the Gasperich junction to renew the top layer of the surface in the direction of Luxembourg. The works will start on Saturday, 16 November at around 8:00pm and will be completed by Monday, 18 November at around 4:00am.
The following measures will be put in place:
- Closure of the section of the A1 motorway towards Luxembourg between the Hamm junction and the Gasperich junction.
- Traffic on the A1 motorway in the specified section will be organised in two directions, one lane for each direction. The maximum speed will be limited to 70 km/h and in the tunnel to 50 km/h.
Preparatory work for the traffic change will begin several hours before the main closure, so expect traffic congestion by the end of the day.
