Luxembourg events for August 23-25

The Luxembourg Tennis Federation (FLT) has announced that the new national padel team will participate for the first time in an international tournament to be held in Luxembourg in August 2024. The tournament, "Innside Meliá by Luxembourg FLT Padel Cup", will take place from August 22 to 24 on the courts of the CK Sportcenter Kockelscheuer. Teams from Moldova, Andorra, Iceland, Saarland and two teams from Luxembourg will participate in the competition. The matches will be played in the format of men's, women's and mixed doubles, with the result of the latter determining the winner in case of a tie.

The biggest fair of Luxembourg and the Greater Region is back! About two million visitors and more than two hundred attractions are expected. This event combines tradition, gastronomy and amusement and offers a unique atmosphere on four hectares of fields. The famous Luxembourgish potato pancakes "Gromperekichelcher" are offered to the fair guests. The fair ends on September 11th with a fireworks display on the Grand-Duchess Charlotte Bridge.

Learn to work with liquid paint and immerse yourself in the world of color and random shapes that emerge on canvas through various pouring techniques. After creating individual works, workshop participants will work together to create a collective work inspired by Agnieszka Kurant's current exhibition. The artists of the i and i duo, Ivan Moirinho (Portugal) and Irina Galoyan (of Russian-Luxembourgian descent), believe in the creative potential of each individual and strive to make art accessible to all, transforming the viewer into an active participant and co-creator.
