Luxembourg temperatures rising: spring is just around the corner

Next weekend Luxembourg will celebrate Buergbrennen, a traditional holiday marking the farewell to winter. However, spring is already making its presence felt: according to the Meteolux forecast, the country is expecting a gradual warming and sunny weather.
This week an atmospheric front over the British Isles has a favourable influence on the climate in Central Europe. Temperatures will drop slightly below freezing under clear skies on Sunday night and Monday morning will be cold with high altitude clouds. However, during the day the sun will gradually take over and the air will warm up to 10°C.
In the first days of March, the nights will remain cold and it will not be possible to do without a hat and gloves for the time being. However, from Wednesday and Thursday onwards, the weather will become truly spring-like. Sunny days and clear skies will allow the thermometer to rise to 12-14°C.
