Luxembourg will support musicians and labels

The Luxembourg Ministry of Culture is launching a financial support programme for professional musicians and music labels. The aim of the programme is to promote the recording of musical projects, both in the studio and in live format. This initiative aims to develop and promote the musical arts in the country.
The programme requires the recording of a minimum of six tracks or musical material of at least 20 minutes duration. The grant is available to professional artists with Luxembourgish citizenship, resident in the country or with a close cultural connection to Luxembourg. Music labels or companies registered in the form of SARL/SA can also apply.
Special consideration will be given to applicants who present a structured career development strategy. Having a professional background, such as management or cooperation with a music label, as well as interaction with local structures will be an advantage.
