The Michelin Guide 2025 star ceremony took place at the heart of contemporary art, the Centre Pompidou in Metz. The main highlight was the Yozora restaurant, where Charles Coulombeau and his team received their first star - just eight months after opening.

"It's a great joy and confirmation that serious work, modesty and perseverance are paying off," shared the chef, who already has one star for La Maison dans le Parc in Nancy. According to him, the Yozora team is made up of young people, many of whom have never worked in gastronomy before. They managed to pull together and get results - now their restaurant is the only starred restaurant in the Moselle capital.

"We hope others will come along," says Coulombault, "to make Metz a true destination for foodies and food connoisseurs.

Although Yozora is the only newcomer, the Moselle department has maintained a strong position on the gastronomic map. Six restaurants have confirmed their stars in the new edition of the guide:

  • Le K in Montenach.
  • Toya in Faulquemont
  • Le Quai des Saveurs in Hagondange
  • L'Arnsbourg in Baerenthal.
  • Chez Michèle in Languimberg.
  • L'Auberge Saint-Walfrid in Sarreguemines

Each of these establishments has already become a point of attraction for gourmets from France, Luxembourg and Germany. The region is gradually strengthening its gastronomic reputation.
