Regular climbing courses are held for both adults and children, where you can learn all the essentials for safety and climbing techniques. Once you have completed the mandatory initiation course, you can participate in free climbing. This does not mean, that you will not use ropes and belts, by the way. During free climbing, qualified trainers will ensure your safety and provide bits of advice.
Children from the age of 5 and up to the age of 15 must always be accompanied by an adult in this climbing place.
Climbing equipment is available for rent at the reception, as well as locker rooms and showers on-site. The price for one piece of equipment is around 3 euros.
The Youth Hostel has climbing lessons too: initiation lesson, where instructors will teach you to work with equipment and how to climb costs 23 euros for adults and 15 euros for children and students. The youngest kids (5 to 8 years old) will only pay 9 euros for the lesson.

Outdoor wall and rock climbing in Luxembourg
This new leisure has opened in 2022 and was supported by the state and municipality. Crush pads and low height makes this place great for kids, families, and beginners. The climbing here is managed by Boulder Klub Mamer, and you need to be a part of the club in order to access the facility. You can become a member of the club online on the official website.
The price for membership is 35 euros for people younger than 18 years old and students under 26, and 50 euros for everybody else.
Climbing here is various and truly amazing: many curves, face climbs, grades, and natural sandstone under your hands. Though climbing is only allowed till the 500 meters height section of the cliff, professional climbers can have access to this climbing wall all year round. There are a lot of routes, marked by safety bolts, but you are not allowed to make new ones in some areas of the wall.
This natural resource is protected, so stay on trails, do not leave trash, and brush your holds afterward.
