Recent successes by far-right parties in European elections are causing politicians to consider the direction that Europe could take if the situation does not change..

In neighboring Germany and France, the right has already pushed aside the governing parties. Emmanuel Macron recently dissolved parliament and announced early elections, but even there, Marine Le Pen's party may retain leadership.

As for Germany, the current chancellor Olaf Scholz's bloc also suffered a crushing defeat and received a historically minimal number of votes in the elections.

This situation puzzled Luс Frieden, which he expressed during a meeting with Donald Tusk, the Prime Minister of Poland. According to Frieden, he is against any radicalism, left or right. Although centrists still hold the majority of seats in the European Parliament, they should communicate more often with dissatisfied citizens, listen and make decisions that benefit society and the EU as a whole.

"Extreme parties often want to destroy Europe, which has guaranteed us peace, stability and prosperity. I hope that citizens will realize that these political groups are doing the exact opposite. There is no progress without cooperation," the Prime Minister added.
