On 12 December, the OGBL union finally approved the text of a new collective agreement for transport and logistics workers together with employers from Groupement Transport. The agreement covers all companies registered in Luxembourg operating in the freight, express, warehousing and logistics sectors.

The following changes will take effect from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2026:

  • Salary increases: 2.5 per cent on average for all categories.
  • Bonuses for ADR drivers: a monthly allowance of €50 for transporting dangerous goods.
  • Compensation increases: include accommodation costs and kilometre allowances.
  • Training time accounting: courses for professional drivers (Code 95) are now included in business hours.

This agreement marks an important step in improving working conditions for thousands of workers in Luxembourg's transport sector. Increased wages and bonuses, as well as the inclusion of training in working hours, underline the commitment to strengthening social protection and developing workers' skills.

Employers and trade unions are confident that this agreement will be an incentive to make the industry more attractive and motivate employees.
