Following the opening of a new Burger King restaurant in the north of the country, Firce Capital and KFC France have announced the opening a chain of KFC fast food restaurants in the Grand Duchy. It is expected to have 10 restaurants in Luxembourg by 2028. The first one will open this fall in the Belval Plaza shopping center.

The choice of location is no accident. Belval Plaza is one of the largest shopping centers in the country, located near university campuses, offices, new residential buildings, a concert hall, and cinemas. There is a Belval train station and a 3,000-space parking lot nearby. Thanks to all these factors, Belval Plaza has seen a steady increase in traffic, with 7 million visitors expected by 2023.

With the opening of 10 restaurants, Firce Capital plans to create more than 500 jobs over the next 5 years. Christophe Fournage, President of Firce Capital, said the company will strive to make KFC the most popular restaurant chain in Luxembourg. Isabelle Herman, Managing Director of KFC France, added that the chain already enjoys great popularity in neighboring countries and has managed to build an excellent reputation.
