Luxembourg events for 20-22 September

Get ready for a full-fledged Oktoberfest in Mondorf-les-Bains! On 20 and 21 September 2024, a local festival with the same name will take place here. The event will take place at the Salle des Fêtes Al Thermen from 18:30 to 02:00. Guests can expect live music from Hoffi-Zambezi, Wildkogel Boam and Susal, as well as traditional Bavarian specialities: pork knuckle, roast chicken, white sausage, pretzels and apple strudel. The drinks menu includes Paulaner Weissbier, Pils, crémant, wine and soft drinks.

To celebrate World Spinning Day on 21 September 2024, the Luxembourg association WollMillen will organise a meeting at the Kulturhaus Käerjenger Treff (Bacharach) from 14:00 to 18:00. WollMillen is engaged in the artisanal and ecological production of woollen products. Due to the lack of spinning mills in Luxembourg, local wool is often either kept idle or exported for industrial processing. The association was created to preserve the tradition of working with wool and to enhance its value. Specialists in spinning with spinning mills are invited to the event, which is being held for the second time.

A cultural festival organised by the Cercle Culturel et d'Initiative of the municipality of Bouss-Valdbredimu will take place in Valdbredimu from 20 to 22 September 2024. The festival will include an exhibition of local amateur artists in and around the Jos Rennel Cultural Centre.

The Long Live The Summer event, organised by Luxexpo The Box in collaboration with the City of Luxembourg and the Chamber of Commerce, will take place from 20 to 22 September 2024. Visitors can expect a variety of activities including DJ performances, interactive workshops and fairs featuring local designers and well-known brands. The event also focuses on the environment by introducing sustainable practices.
