Rail services between Luxembourg and Belgium will be under serious pressure due to a strike by the Belgian National Railway Company (SNCB). The strike will last from 22:00 Monday 7 April until 22:00 Tuesday 8 April 2025 and may affect all trains running between the two countries.
The Luxembourg railway company CFL warns of possible delays and cancellations of trains during this period. Passengers planning journeys to or from Belgium are strongly advised to check in advance for up-to-date information on the official website www.cfl.lu or the CFL mobile app.
Despite the traffic disruption, the replacement bus route on the Luxembourg - Kleinbettingen - Arlon section will operate as normal. This line temporarily replaces trains due to infrastructure works and is not affected by the SNCB strike.
