Luxembourg events for 22-24 November

From 22 November 2024 to 1 January 2025, Luxembourg will be transformed into a true winter fairy tale thanks to the Winterlights festival. The streets and squares of the capital will be filled with glittering lights and festive decorations, creating a magical atmosphere that will delight locals and tourists alike.

Luxembourg Art Week, founded in 2015 under the leadership of gallerist Alex Reding, brings together the local art scene and the international art market. The event includes a fair with renowned galleries, artist collectives and regional art centres, as well as a rich cultural programme with lectures, performances and sculpture trails. Art Week is supported by the Ministry of Culture and the capital city and actively co-operates with museums, galleries and the tourism industry, promoting Luxembourg as a significant point on the international art map.

Every two years at the end of November, the Rockhal is transformed into a large-scale science laboratory with around 30 free interactive workshops organised by researchers and science popularisers. "Researcher Days" has become a key event for science in Luxembourg, offering the opportunity for school children and the general public to participate in experiments and learn about the world of science. The next call for applications for the 2026 event will start in December 2025 and details will be published on the FNR platform and social media.

Luxembourg job portal Moovijob is organising the first Moovijob Week, a unique event with themed days. In the last week of November, each day of the fair will be dedicated to a specific category of job seekers. The event is open to everyone and offers a great opportunity to meet face-to-face with key representatives of the Luxembourg labour market.
